As our SEC Reporting practice continues to grow, we are looking to add a Senior Consultant or Manager to our SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated accounting professional who enjoys technical accounting, values direct client exposure, and wants to work on complex, high-impact engagements with public companies.

The Senior Consultant / Manager will play a key role in supporting clients with SEC reporting, technical accounting research, audit readiness, and financial reporting compliance. This individual will work closely with leadership and clients on critical projects including quarterly and annual filings, registration statements, transaction support, and accounting for complex business events.

The ideal candidate brings strong public accounting experience, deep technical accounting knowledge, and hands-on exposure to SEC reporting requirements—particularly within life sciences and technology environments.

• Prepare, review, and support SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, and other registration statements
• Assist clients with technical accounting research and implementation across areas such as ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 842, ASC 718, ASC 815, and related guidance
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes, including footnote disclosures and MD&A preparation
• Collaborate with clients and auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting and audit readiness
• Assist with IPO readiness, M&A transactions, carve-outs, and complex capital structure accounting
• Review audit support schedules, accounting memos, and documentation for compliance and quality
• Provide advisory support to CFOs, Controllers, and finance leadership teams
• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining strong communication and project execution
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a national, regional, or Big Four firm
• Strong experience in audit, assurance, or technical accounting advisory roles
• Strong PCAOB audit experience is required
• Hands-on SEC reporting experience including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, registration statements, and related disclosures
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently

• CPA preferred; active pursuit of CPA certification strongly preferred
• For Manager-level candidates, CPA certification is not requred
• Experience serving life sciences and technology clients strongly preferred
• Prior experience in technical accounting advisory or outsourced accounting advisory services
• Exposure to IPO readiness and capital markets transactions
• Experience working directly with CFOs, Controllers, and executive leadership teams
